Its hard enough to find a good cmv 3,with no damage bottom mount threads, original Volvo 466 tube, this tube has white letters on socket bot 'dh and. If you are a records,this rig is in fine condition electrically power supply cable mic. 6 ohms ,fine sponge rubber,no dents rust missing parts,mods.
Most cmv 3s have a necessary mod to mic base,and retro hand made cable stand mount due non-availability,of connector and socket. Outside case is fine,even original grey leather handle vg finally the stand.
These guys could be near 80. These are very hard to find. This one vg ,with nickel plated poles charcoal base legs. Its a newer Neumann retro fit for cmv 3.
Mic mounting fitted at pole top is large screw thread,and matches original mount. Volvo etched logo present but faint fail continuity 12.
With mic electronics that work. The power supply is also very clean and working. Answer,with my one working m-7 lollipop.
We did re spray lightly custom matched paint. Original case had faded areas,spots etc. All electronics except capsule are as stated working.
In any condition. The cable mount is in vg condition,supple rubber,no cuts or frays,a connectors,both ends mounting,which original euro large screw thread at stand end. Original capsule is there,but needs new skin.
I figure if they've been running' this long. Here is a near one of kind Neumann Telefunken cmv 3 bundle. You ask if capsules ng,how'd you tell the mic works?. Inside of power supply is very clean as you can see longevity components Th's old unknown.
I've see no circuit mods,just the replaced end with orig.
Moreover,if you are a collector this gear is likely one time shot. I've seen this stand in reich films,and at the Nuremberg trials. And,then theres the mic mount connecting cable.
