The mic has been tested and brought back up to snuff as it recently came from techs at tree audio in Los Angeles. Here is the original brochure on it with all specs. Comes with a soft case and well loved windscreen. Great for drums, percussion and acoustic instruments.

Audix also advertises this one for sax and group vocals. Works perfectly. It has a great sound.

Bass response is a little diminished, which great when you want to get closer your source, nice clean recording and avoid proximity effect perfect for acoustic guitars. Nice high end. Difference between the ADX50 and newer adx 51 is that 50 does not have 10db pad bass rolloff switch. I have also used this for gathering Foley, effects and specialty field recordings.

This mic requires 9 to 52 v phantom power. Audix ADX50 small diaphragm cardioid condenser microphone the 50 is a pre polarized housed in brass chassis 160mm long, 23mm diameter. Light signs of use on the chassis.
