The wireless offerings include a multitude of terminations designed to work with Audio-Technica and other manufacturers' systems. This is a used Audio-Technica BP-896 subminiature lavalier microphone that terminates in TA5F for use with Lectrosonics transmitters. I take good care of my equipment. The extensive accessory kit includes a clothing clip base, viper three single mic holders, two double windscreens, and six element covers two each in black, white, beige for blending with users attire.

The subminiature omni element is enclosed in a durable, low-profile housing with internal construction designed to minimize noise from handling, clothing and wind. There are also several mic heads in different colors. I used this microphone lightly when was considering transitioning to location Audio work full-time. These are useful when you hiding the mic, and head points out a bit.

You can use the tan and while heads to blend in with subjects clothing/costume. I closely compared the two before purchased this microphone, and decided that liked BP-896 better. This comes with the original case, but top of case separates from bottom, as shown in photo. This one includes the original mic clip, and several wire-clip attachments that mount to clip see photos.

It is essentially equal in sound quality, if not better, than the Countryman B6. The microphone operates on phantom power and includes a complete accessory kit. Here is what Audio-Technica had to say about this mic. It has been used probably fewer than 50 times.
