Do not spend your money on Earthworks replacement clips. And it sounds awesome. I'm going to cry a little when I ship. I don't have the Earthworks clips for you, because they are terribly designed and broke immediately.
They are flat. These three mics and the cool inline eq for miking kick drums, are enough to run an entire operation. This kit has served me well both live and in the studio not just for my drums, but percussion, guitar cabs, acoustic guitar, double bass, violin, you name it. Yes, you can mic a drum kit with three mics.
The mics work great, and pictures are real. If I had room to record drums in my new place would never let these go. Buy used and save.
