For those of you who don't know the m7 was original and highly revered capsule in venerable neumann u47.
The M92S is choice for those that want true sound and character of original neumann-Gefell um57 with added benefit improved reliability lower noise. We often make video recordings of items working and to show condition prior sending them. Mic placement is also important for this bear in mind that front of the player and not down barrel horn made a difference sound.

This microphone has less than one hour use on it since been updated with a brand new capsule and tube installed tested at the Microtech Gefell factory in Germany. This seems to be the normal way things are done in community. I really hate to part with this mic because its one of my favorites.
