They're great on vocals, excellent on acoustic guitars, acoustic piano, drums, amps etc. I bought this one for a client who's voice really sounds great with this mic. It comes with full factory warranty and all original packing materials. This month baby needs shoes.
I've owned the real thing and two different versions of. The microphone kit comes as a complete system including microphone in a wood box, MC 56 power supply, new 8 pin screw on cable assembly, and a shock mount all packed in a flight case. Hate to sell it but i'll buy another down the line.
Unfortunately his album project fell through. Clean sweet top end, clear open mid range and nice round low end. This is a dealer demo in perfect condition used for one vocal session.
This is an outstanding mic in the spirit of the telephoning 251e.
