Because of the plastic insert which is intact mic can properly still swivel a bit when tightened. This is in very good condition it tightens down to grip the microphone properly. Grab it before someone else does. Of course it works equally well with the later black 414's.

It will also fit the Akg ck9 long-shotgun capsule for c451-series mics, and no doubt many other mics with similar diameters about these don't show up sale often. Theres no evidence of that here.

If you've got one of these great mics without the matching clip, this is your opportunity to complete set. They show scars from this kind of maltreatment. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.
