Details:

They never really engraved the v anywhere, but the capsules are identified by the red wrap around them as you can see if you zoom in one of the pictures. What the ratio ended up being, i'm not sure. I bought these because of the way they sounded.

This is a rare Telefunken M12V. I will also throw in the plus sling I bought for it a few months back. The serial is 29 and the v signifies the capsule.

For some reason they didn't give me another sheet when they sent me 29, so I only have it for 34, which I can copy over and send with the paperwork. I have the paperwork on them, which is just some basic info on the mic and a frequency response sheet they couldn't tell me whether I had just the vintage plates that had been re skinned or complete originals. The vintage capsules were split up between 251's and 12's.

I had the tube changed and everything gone over from top to bottom by one of their mic techs only 2 years ago. There were only 50 of these v model's made when Telefunken first started releasing these mics.

In my personal shoot out to decide what was to be my go to for Cox and anything acoustic, I preferred their tone to every mic I tried against them, which included the 251, a vintage Newman m49 and various offerings from bock soundless back then and winder. I purchased a matched pair back around when they first became available.

So everything is in perfect working condition. They said they could figure it out if I sent them in, but I didn't want to take it that far. I'm not a collector of vintage pieces, so it didn't concern me.
